   Q. What benefits are there in selling my property at auction?
 

   
 
A. The major benefit is that you will get your property sold quickly, and have the money in your hand almost immediately. Suppose you have a job transfer, an illness in the family or any other reason that would cause you to have to move in a timely manner. With the auction method you don't have to wait for the time to get right, nor do you have to wait for the right person to come along to purchase your property.
 
 
   With the auction method you will find out exactly what your property is worth on auction day. Upon the sale of your property you will have settlement on personal property within 30 days. With Real Estate it is possible for it to take an additional 15 days depending on the situation. 

 
  Q. Can I sell if I have a mortgage on my house?
 

  A. A mortgage is something we are all faced with regardless how we chose to sell our home. The new purchaser generally will cause your mortgage to be paid off up at settlement. What if I have my house listed with a realtor? This is no problem. Our staff will work in conjunction with your present agent, in order to get your house sold. All of us are working toward the same goal; selling your house. 

 
  Q. Who typically sells property at auction?
 

  A. You may be surprised. Generally, banks and mortgage companies sell real estate at auction, when they can no longer collect on a debt. This is commonly referred to as "foreclosure". Bankruptcy courts, Circuit courts and attorneys all use the auction method of marketing. In these examples all of the institutions sell because they need to sell the property quickly. 
   
  While everyone seems to know that the larger institutions sells property at auction, the majority of the people who sell using the auction method of marketing are people just like you. Whether they need to sell their parents estate or because they have been transferred to a far off corner of the country the fact remains, the personal property and the real estate still need to be sold. 

 
  Q. What type of property do you auction?
 

 A. We auction all types of property. Both Real Estate and personal property, from single family homes, farms and farm equipment, to commercial and investment real estate and everything in between. Some believe that you must have a hundred thousand dollar estate before an auction company will conduct a sale. This is also another myth at Royal Auctions. Some auction companies may only do large sales, but at Royal Auction Services we will do both large and small auctions. If we find that you just do not have enough items to have a sale, we will organize a consignment sale and let others bring in items they need to sell. While we like the large estates, we also like the small as well.
